IJBC
The International Junior Branch Conference (IJBC) is a gathering of JBers from around the world which happens once a year in late July and early August.
Find out about Reflect and Act : ijbc 2008 here!
This is an example of where being a global movement truly comes into practice for Junior Branch. Participants from JBs all over the world come together, think together, and work together to develop JB around the world and the impact JB can have on the world.
The content and the emphasis of the meeting is constantly developing and changing depending on the priorities of IJB at the time. In general, however, the meeting has a few main goals:
- to provide training on JB issues
- to develop individual JBs abilities to work towards the JB goals
- to pass information and knowledge in a way that allows the JB World to have a common understanding of issues facing JB and to act unitedly on them
- to provide space for experience sharing and the development of best practices
- to inspire and motivate members of the JB World
Anyone is the JB World is welcome to attend.
We have to admit that IJBC is a pretty amazing program and experience, and we’d be quite happy if you came.
